NPC Presents “Voices in Mission!” Wednesdays in March at 7 pm.

The Lent speaker series is offered as a ministry of the Mission Committee of   Northampton Presbyterian Church.  Hear from a diverse group about creative  ministries that meet urgent needs and foster self-development locally and across the globe. Learn about the Matthew 25 initiative of the Presbyterian Church (USA) and what it means to become a "Matthew 25" church, actively engaged in the world around us.

**As pandemic conditions improve locally, we are excited to be able to host speakers  in-person and by livestream from our facebook page.  In the event that  one of our speakers is unable to speak with us in-person, we will meet over Zoom. Please contact to receive a Zoom invitation.

CFRE, Senior Director for Mission Engagement and Support of the Presbyterian Mission Agency, overseeing all of mission funding and  special offerings and advising on interpretation of per  capita.  Rose has authored two books:  Birthings and Blessings (Vol. 1 & 2) and she will discuss the "Matthew 25" invitation, and how you can help our denomination become a more relevant presence in the world.

Represents Advocates for the Homeless and Those in Need (AHTN), a Bucks County interfaith nonprofit providing  year-long access to emergency shelter, food and other life-sustaining services. Learn how one concerned neighbor developed a ministry that now includes Code Blue, Meals to Wheels, Shower Mission and Those in Need.

From West Kensington Ministries. Adan was born in Central America and raised in Chicago, Texas, and New Mexico. A graduate of the University of New Mexico and Austin Presbyterian Theological Seminary, Adan moved to Pennsylvania in 2003 to serve as a Lilly Resident in Ministry at Bryn Mawr Presbyterian Church. He was then called by the Presbytery of Philadelphia to be the organizing pastor of The West Kensington Ministry. Learn about WKM and their “Building Bridges” mentoring program, recording studio and WKM T-shirt Studio!

Associate Pastor of The Welcome Church, a church without walls on Philadephia’s Benjamin Franklin Parkway serving people in poverty. Founded by The Reverend Violet Cucciniello Little in January of 2007, The Welcome Church is a co-ministry of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America and the Presbyterian Church (USA), with a volunteer clergy team that includes a number of faith leaders from the Episcopal, UCC, and other traditions. All are welcome to be part of this dynamic ministry.
