WEDNESDAY EVENING FIRESIDE CHATS
Once upon a time during a difficult time in America, President Franklin Delano Roosevelt took a regular evening time to speak to all Americans by radio. The broadcasts came to be known as “Fireside Chats”.
The technology is different, but the issue of this day is eerily like the issue of FDR’s day. And our people, the family of faith, needs to be reminded every so often who they are, and Whose they are.
For the foreseeable future, NPC wants to offer our own version of Fireside Chats on every Wednesday evening at 7:30 p.m. You can find our “Chats” on our Facebook page by Clicking Here. A library of all recorded videos can be accessed by Clicking Here. Here is how they will work:
WHEN: Every Wednesday at 7:30 p.m, Resuming at 9/9/20
HOW LONG: A half hour. Seldom longer.
WHAT: A time for prayer and a time for stories about a small church and its life. We hope it will be fun, entertaining, and with a message to live by.
WHAT ELSE: If you email Drew by 7:00 p.m. sharp on each Wednesday with your prayer concerns, we will pray together and share those concerns with God and each other.
