On Tuesday evening, December 8th, the Session held its regularly scheduled monthly meeting. After prayerful consideration of the exploding numbers of the Covid virus, hospital admissions, and infection rates for both Bucks and Montgomery counties, Session took the two following actions:

1. To continue to worship on Sunday mornings by livestreaming only. We will revisit, at every monthly Session meeting, the wisdom and safety of in-person worship, but until the virus is brought under control so that in-person worship can once again be regarded as safe, we will remain in a live streaming mode. Once in-person worship is safely possible, we will continue both to live stream our service and to worship in-person.

2. Session also revisited our previous plan to worship outside on Christmas Eve on the NPC grounds. Again, because the rampant spread of the Covid virus makes gathering and singing out loud ill advised, our Christmas Eve service will be livestreamed only. There will be no gathered worship at the church this year.

We look forward towards that time when we can once more gather together in our sanctuary for celebrative worship in the company of our friends at NPC. And we trust that time is coming sometime soon. But for the present, we will continue to worship using the technology that affords us both community and safety as we glorify the name of our Lord together.

We continue to prepare the way of the Lord, even as we wish each one a Merry and blessed Christmas.
